Motorheads – Your Questions About Fox News
Filed Under (Articles) by Chip

Daniel asks…

Fox News…………..?

Being from England, i don’t see much of it, however the bits i have seen from it are shocking…
Its like a flow of unbidden sewage coming through your house via the Television…
The presenters are way over the top, moronic, dramatic, emotional, fundamentalist Creationists that hate free speech and twist everything factual to fit their twisted beliefs.

My QUESTION is…. How did Fox News ever get on TV, who allowed this abomination?
Fox News is a crime against humanity.

What do you think about it?

Chip answers:

I think that stations like CNN and the BBC are way too liberal for my taste. It caters to unrealistic ideals and it ignores half of the truth in each story. They are known for giving one side and not the other and for pandering to Muslims. Instead of discussing the facts they dwell on perceived hatred by the Conservatives, and instead of investigating the whole story, most often they have only been interested in how to bring the “racist” element alive in their news even if there’s nothing racist to be told. Example: The story in Texas about the employer who asked his employees to use easier names to pronounce for customer service calls… They jumped on it, and instead of looking at it from the perspective of customer ease, they attempted to make the business owner look bad for it calling him a racist, and when they had a guest reporter who was also Latino speak on it, the reporter said that was perfectly reasonable to ask of this employees.

I think in all cases both sides should be represented, not just one, and tell the entire story.

Lisa asks…

FOX News???

The content of FOX truly does have liberal and conservative points of view. So…how and why do other news journalists question FOX viewers intelligence? Could it be that FOX is more pro-American than other news organizations who seem to be more concerned with global news?

Chip answers:

Well lets start off by saying that that first answer you got shows that level of moronic ignorance out there in America today. They don’t question the Fox News viewers intelligence because they are Fox News watchers but rather that the viewer doesn’t follow in lock step with the point of view that they personally hold. This leads us into next question; it is not that the others are less “pro-American” as it may look, they are pushing an agenda/propaganda that they want you to believe instead. It make them upset when you think for yourself and don’t drink the koolaid they are passing out. We live in a global society and there is no way out of that, they just want to be crowned kings & worshiped as important people instead of just doing their job honestly. “Check every fact on every channel for your own good…read, watch, ask questions and never believe that anyone knows everything!” Good luck to you in life my friend!

Sandra asks…

Fox news………………..?

Who all watches fox news and who is your favorite person on it?

Chip answers:

I occasionally find myself watching fox but they are pretty bias.

Honestly I watch them to see the opposite side of the news. They’re pretty radical with the information they report on.

I honestly prefer to read the news. I’m Ol’skool

Ruth asks…

fox news…..?

do you think fox news is fair and balanced?

Chip answers:

Seems to me, they are more for the Republican Party then the Democratic Party. No, they are not fair and balanced. Not, at all.

Maria asks…

Is Fox News working in concert with Republicans to keep their viewer in the dark about Republican hypocrisy?

Fox News convince their viewers to only watch and trust them. So while other news outlets are reporting on Republican hypocrisy in regards to the stimulus bill Fox News is silent. If a Fox news viewer see a report about Republicans touting jobs that were created in their home district it is automatically dismissed as being liberal bias story because they only trust Fox News. Then those same Republicans get in front of national news cameras and claim the stimulus did not create a single job.

Chip answers:

That’s the danger of only trusting one source… What if they are wrong?

And odds are, every source is wrong on something at some point…

Chip answers:

I don’t know about Rachael or some of Paula Deen’s shows, but on shows like Emeril Live or Paula’s Party, the food is served to the audience.

Doc

Thomas asks…

Can someone please tell the Food Network to get rid of Sandra Lee?

She’s not a cook – shes a drunk with a bunch of terrible shortcuts and tricks.
I think the Food Network does not have a “Tell Us” link because they’re afraid of all the negative remarks they might get about her Semi-home made show.

Chip answers:

Lets replace her with Sara Lee!

Chris asks…

Who is the black male on food network grills?

I am looking for reference to a black male on Food Network that grills. I want to get a friend his book.

Chip answers:

There is a guy who does only grilling out in his back yard. He has, like, 3 grills and does everything imaginable. His name is Robert Rainford. His show is “License To Grill”. You can Google his name to find his web site.

Joseph asks…

How did chefs on food network get their own show?

I want to become a successful chef one day & have my own show on food network.
I want to go to a good culinary school.
I want to learn how to cook better — I have the determination.
If you know please let me know, Im curious.
Im only 16 but Im thinking of becoming a chef – its an option for my future.

I love cooking — Im not the best cook but I am willing to learn.

Chip answers:

If you watch the food network there was a show that showed how food stars like Rachel Ray, got thier chance on being there. They worked their selves up by actually becoming known in the television industry…
Or try out when your a bit older for the Food Network’s Next Food Star.

Thomas asks…

Is the man-bag a yay or nay?

All right, so I have a messenger bag, otherwise known as “man-bag,” or more disparagingly, “man-purse.” I’ve never gotten slack about it before, but a couple friends of mine have started razzing me a bit about it. It’s not purse-like, it’s just raggy, beige bag with a shoulder strap. I’ve heard guys in Europe have been sportin’ the man-bag for years. What do you all think? I’m definitely not metrosexual, I prefer blue jeans and my Harley Davidson boots. The school backpack and the briefcase are too square for my style; is the man-bag such a bad thing?

Chip answers:

It more about what you do with it than the bag its self.

If you keep you wallet and key it and carry it every were.
Then it a purse.

If you have you laptop and book in it and use it like a backpack
then its fine.

Mary asks…

Do you have an outfit or an article of clothing that makes you feel powerful?

I have these Harley Davidson bitchkitty boots I wear with my skinny jeans. Or a skirt.

Chip answers:

My Wonder Woman costume.

Motorheads – Your Questions About Triumph Learning
Filed Under (Articles) by Chip

Donald asks…

Is what we know of the American Revolution just one great example of propaganda?

We learn all about the reasons behind the Revolution, the actions and triumphs of the patriots over the British and the creation of a new country based on liberty.

But is what we’re taught truly accurate?

Chip answers:

This question is good. Perhaps it can best be answered by the understanding that we all cannot know all things about everything. I learn something new about the American Revolution each time a new show comes on the history channel. I am sure that text books must have slanted the whole thing but how many text books and accounts do most of us read cover to cover? We will of course get some highlights we are asked to report back with on a test but how deep do we dig?

I believe the accuracy is probably close but not until we get the whole story will we truly understand. Maybe we don’t need all the facts but if you do- dig dig dig.

ADDITION:

I have also heard some not so positive things reported by the history channel about those during that time. I would have never thought for example the our beloved general George Washington would have had some of his soldiers execute some of the deserting soldiers the way he did. Apparently about a dozen left the ranks and were later rounded up. The two or three that were responsible for the plan and led the desertion were lined up – but the ones that left with them were ordered to be the ones to shoot them and if they didn’t they were going to be next! Now we know how poorly equipped and hungry these men were. Most or all of them were not professional soldiers. This seemed barbaric to me but Washington had to, I understand keep his troops in line.

But this is one example that we are not just fed a rosy picture of our greatness.

Ken asks…

Which of the following was not a significant development during the decade following Jackson’s presidency?

a.A protracted depression followed on the heels of the Panic of 1837.
b.President Van Buren shifted vast amounts of federal funds to state banks.
c.The Whig party, having learned the campaign techniques pioneered by the Democrats, triumphed in the presidential election of 1840.
d.President Tyler burned his bridges with the Whigs by vetoing American System-style legislation.

Chip answers:

Hi this was long time ago, we learned it first semester since Jackson is the 7th president, and I am not on that section about Jackson yet for reviewing for AP. So I just gonna take a guess
ok so Jackson’s presidency ended 1836
and the panic of 1837 during van buren’s presidency was right after Jackson
so we will just think A is right for now
for B, Van Buren followed jackson of his policy of favoing hard currency, and I do remeber something about dividing the federal funds ot state banks but not quite sure if it was during Jackson’s presidency or Van Buren so we will just put B as a “?” of not sure for now until we see one that we think is definetly fure sure not a significant developlent(hint: the word signifacatn probably doesnt matter, they are probably gonna have one asnwer that has nothing to do with this time period or totally off)
ok so C is totally ture whings party under William Harry Harrison
and D, Tyler was Whig and his presidency starts in 1845, and the American System-style legislation, let me look that up in my ap book and se what I find about Tyler

so I think A and C is totally true
so either B or D, I have a feelnig it is D but I am not sure whether it was under Van Buren when the feral funds to state happen(my meory tell me it was under Jackson during his fight with this one person, what’s his name again hmm when he did what’s it called, pig banks, or something like that so ok)
so I am going to go ahead and go with B

I think the answer is B
I am not completely sure though
sorry if this is too late for help
but if you’d like disucc any more US history with me
My ap test is in 2 days
so within 2 days you can email me and we will discuss :)
I can also help u after
I know i have actually 1 day left to study all 40 somethign presdients
heh heh

Thomas asks…

Mirrors for my Triumph Speed Four?

Hey guys I’ve been riding motorcycles for almost 3 years now and I currently own a Triumph Speed four 2005 model (Its my second bike). The previous owner left the mirrors in quite a state and I’m fed up of seeing them every time I ride so I wanted to look into getting some new ones.

Now I don’t just want to get the same ones it had originally I want to customise it a little. However I don’t know the first thing about what I need to be looking out for when looking for new mirrors. Do all mirrors fit all bikes? Can I only fit a small set of mirrors? Or maybe I can’t fit any at all. I need your help so please any info you can help me out with would be awesome because I have to learn about it some when :P .

Thanks in advance

Chip answers:

Mirrors are pretty straight forward really no mystery so I’m puzzled by your confusion. No not all fit all and you can get pretty much any size you like. Rather simple really. Go and search for some “Bar end mirrors” on the internets. You’ll be rewarded with a rear view that does not include your shoulders or arms.

Susan asks…

I need to learn everything I can about motorcycles, in particular the Triumph Thruxton.?

I’m turning 18 soon and I need this bike, regardless of logic. I have 3000 which I’m willing to spend on a used one. I’ve only ridden a dirt bike and a motorcycle once before. I don’t want to just go buy a motorcycle though, I want to understand many of the details regarding motorcycles and find out good places to look for them and Im going to use a friends dirt bike alot soon to get more expirience on two wheels. Thanks for any help.

Chip answers:

Besides learning about bikes in general, I’d suggest taking a Basic Riding Course from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation or a similar organization. Its really a very good way to get a good set skills started from instructors that know their stuff.

Everyone I’ve ever talked to who took one of these courses (myself included) thought it was money and time well spent. In Minnesota, these courses cost about $125 and take place over 2 weekends. They provide the (small, good for beginners) bikes. You have to provide basic safety gear–helmet, gloves, long sleeved shirts and pants and shoes that cover your ankles.

The Thruxton is a fun bike. I own a Triumph (Sprint ST) and have been very happy with it.

Mary asks…

Paintball CO2 removal question: Tippmann Triumph eXT, 24 oz. tank. Thanks for your time!?

Noob here; I’ve got a Tippmann Triumph eXT & a 24 oz. tank.

The first time that I used my gun and was finished with it, I tried to take out my tank by quickly untwisting it. I did this as fast I could. However when I did this, a huge cloud of CO2 came out, and I later learned from the guy at the store that my tank was broken.

I’ve gotten another one, and I would like to know the correct way to take out a tank so this doesn’t happen again.

I’ve heard something like, ‘twist the tank 3/4 of a turn and shoot a shot; reapeat.’ Is that right?

What’s the best way to take it out? Thanks for your time :)

Chip answers:

Or, get a remote with a quick-disconnect. Simply twist the knob on the remote to pull the pin back, and fire a few shots. You usually have three or four shot’s worth of air in the remote.

Motorheads – Your Questions About Bmw Motorcycles
Filed Under (Articles) by Chip

George asks…

what is a fair price for a 1958 r69 bmw motorcycle restored?

what would a fair price be for a 1958 r69 bmw motorcycle 61k miles. restored in 1987 ans has been in storage since. so it will need some work to get it running like new battery, plugs, carb

Chip answers:

I don’t know the exact answer, but nice roller crank bikes have been bringing in the neighborhood of $10k or more; at least that’s what people are asking. A lot depends on whether the crank has been out to have the slingers cleaned. You don’t need a battery to run the bike; it has a magneto ignition. A better source on value and an excellent consultant on tech is Craig Vechorik:
http://benchmarkworks.com/

Robert asks…

BMW motorcycle keeps trying to run even though I turn off the key. Can anyone advise?

It is a 1985 BMW K100RS. This is the first time this has ever happened since buying the bike some 15 years ago. It has about 65,000 miles on it.

I arrived to my job and turned the engine off by key–and the engine turn off switch–but it kept trying to keep the engine running; it was the sound you hear when you have started the engine but my mistake turned the key again and get that awful noise you get when the engine has already been running.

Chip answers:

It sounds to me like your starter solenoid is stuck. Or something has shorted across the terminals to keep the starter motor running.this is kinda hard on the starter too. T^hey aren’t meant to run for long you probably couldn’t hear it while it was running. Check all of the wiring in the cranking circuit . Now that they have been heated up,some may be loose. Also check that the crimps on the wire connections have not been compromised, from the heat. How did you get it to stop? Check the start button to see if it is sticking, and the wiring to the button.they can get chafed and short out making the starter run also.

Sandy asks…

What is the best place to take my BMW Motorcycle for service in BC?

I just moved to Port Moody (near Vancouver) and want to take my BMW R1200 in for spring service?

Chip answers:

You can try calling the Motorcycle Services and Repair Shops listed at Vancouver Tops:

http://www.vancouvertops.com/m/motorcycle-services-repair-in-vancouver.php

There are plenty of them.

Good luck !

Mandy asks…

Someone told me that BMW motorcycles can go 150,000+ miles. Is this true?

I’m looking to buy a 1988 800cc motorcycle in mint condition, with 45,000 miles on it (he said he’ll have it tuned up and have the transmission fixed — and probably will ask $3000).

Chip answers:

Short answer: yes. I currently own 4 BMWs: 1973 R600 (German police bike purchased at auction, started at 80k, now over 170k – driven primarily in Germany), 1983 R80S (started at 2k in Tuscon, now 156k – driven primarily in western US), 1991 R100GS Paris-Dakar (started at 120mi in Minneapolis, now 148k – driven primarily between Alaska and Central America) and curently driving a 1981 R80RT (purchased in Poland with 86k and now at 136k – driven long and hard throughout Europe). I would guess that the transmission repair (common for that series) is a bearing that wears out around 80 to 100k). If the bike has been standing for a longer period of time, expect to replace or tighten several of the seals (i.e fork, shift lever shaft, rear drive unit, push rod tubes, etc.)… None of these are major investments and may begin to fail (slowly… I.e. With some warning) one at at time but still worth the investment. I prefer classic Beemers (for obvious reasons), don’t sell them and don’t care for the newer models.

Mary asks…

How reliable are BMW motorcycles? Particularly the f800r?

I only ride about 10k a year on average. Ive read mixed opinions about bmw‘s reliability. Id appreciate input from people who’ve put some decent miles on them.
Thanks for all the good answers. I had pretty good faith in BMW and you’ve reinforced that. Some people do bash their reliability on the internet but some people are a little too dramatic. After all smethings gotta go wrong after 100k which is a long stretch for me. Looks like Im going BMW for my next bike.

Chip answers:

BMW’s have the highest reliability of any motorcycle manufacturer. They don’t make all the parts themselves but they do test the quality of components that go on their bikes. The Engine in the f800r is made by rotax. Rotax specializes in making engines for high reliability uses such as aircraft. I have an uncle that owns a BMW with a boxer engine with over 200,000 miles on it.

Motorheads – Your Questions About Kawasaki Atv
Filed Under (Articles) by Chip

Robert asks…

How do you reset the belt warning light on a Kawasaki 650 Brute force ATV?

Chip answers:

First, repair any belt or drive problem to prevent injury, death or major part malfunction and expense.

Here it is word for word from the factory shop manual.

Turn off the ignition switch.
Remove the seat.
Disconnect both sets of 4 pin connectors in the electrical parts case.
Reconnect these 4 pin connectors to their opposite gray to black and black to gray.
Turn on the ignition switch.
Observe the belt check indicator light. (It should be flashing quickly.)
Disconnect the belt switch at the 2 pin connectors above the torque converter cover.
Observe the belt check indicator light. (It should be flashing slowly.)
Let it flash for at least 5 seconds. (More than 5 is ok.)
While observing the belt check indicator light, turn off the ignition switch.
Disconnect the mismatched 4 pin connector sets and reconnect them normally.
Connect the belt switch 2 pin connector.
Turn on the ignition switch.
Confirm that no belt check indicator light is flashing.
Put the connectors back and bend the clamps.

Ruth asks…

What is the name of the new ATV maker that my Honda/Kawasaki/Yamaha dealer is carrying?

I recently saw this thing at the dealership and they said that it was a company that has made parts for Honda for 15 years, supposedly quite reputable. I have Googled, but can’t find the name of it. Anyone?
Just found it….KYMCO, a Taiwanese maker…..several dealers here in Kansas. Thanks for helping…

Chip answers:

Is it Can_Am?

Betty asks…

i recently changed my brakes on a 2001 250 kawasaki atv and the break pedal isn’t working what could be wrong.?

the pedal for the back breaks goes all the way down it has no tension at all.

Chip answers:

Brake lines have not been bled properly.Air in line or linkage to hydraulic line needs adjustment.

Richard asks…

How do I determine the model year of a Kawasaki Bayou 220 ATV from the serial number?

Chip answers:

10th digit of the VIN. Then call your Kawasaki dealer.

Linda asks…

What is the oil capacity of an 06 kawasaki bayou 250 atv?

Chip answers:

Manual calls for 2.2 liters of oil when changing oil and filter. If you drain oil only, the manual states one liter is required.

Motorheads – Your Questions About Suzuki Atv
Filed Under (Articles) by Chip

Lisa asks…

My son has a 2001 Suzuki 50 cc atv its not been used in a while and there is no spark at the plug?

Chip answers:

Could be the spark plug. Or a wire could not work. Or something.
Take the spark plug to a shop if they say it’s good then one of your wires are bad

Carol asks…

where can i get a repair manual for a 2000 suzuki atv?

Chip answers:

Try www.helm.com

helm is the main publications maker for all the car companies.

William asks…

Will this air filter give any power to my suzuki atv?

i have a 07 suzuki ltz 250
would a k&n or twin air filter give any power to my quad
would it help sound
would it give it more torque

any answer to those are greatly helpful
by the way i have a full sports exhuast on it
pro circuit t4 head and t4 slip on exhaust

Chip answers:

Sound different……not really……more hp & torque….YES!!!!….if done PROPERLY……

A K&N is the BEST & HIGHEST FLOWING air filter on the market……
However, the air filter alone will not make more power….
In order to make power power, you have to get more air into the engine(air filter) and be able to get it out more quickly and easily (exhaust)….soooo…..this means a performance exhaust or low restricition muffler must also be installed……when you do this, the carb or injection must also be set up properly and tuned to give the engine the increase in fuel needed to compensate for the increase in air…….
All this together, you WILL notice an increase in hp and torque…..how much though is really limited to the engine itself……it takes and increase of 10% for the change to be “felt”…….say your bike has 50hp, you would have to increase its output by 5hp in order to actually feel the difference while riding, anything less, only a dyno will pick up.

Linda asks…

SUZUKI ATV…Good quality?

I am looking at a few NEW ATV‘s. I am looking into the following three brands, and I would like to narrow it down to one brand.

Please offer your thoughts.

Honda Recon 250
Polaris Trail Blazer or Trail Boss 330
Suzuki Ozark 250

I am a first time owner, so I’d appreciate all qualified opinions.

Thanks!!!

Chip answers:

Pretty much all of the Japanese brand ATV’s are going to be comparable in quality.

They will also be comparable in performance as long as you are comparing apples to apples. When comparing apple to oranges the results will be different. What I mean is that an ATV with a larger displacement engine will make more power and outperform the smaller engine. Again, comparing apples to apples, 4 stroke to 4 stroke. Similar sized ATVs will be close enough in performance that the difference can be made up by a skilled rider.

I recommend getting off your butt and going to some of your local ATV dealers. Sit on the models that interest you. Compare the layout and features for yourself. Kick the tires. Take them for a test ride. The seat of your pants will tell you much more than anything you will find in a magazine or on the Internet.

By actually going to your local dealers you may find sales and incentives that you won’t find on the Internet. For example you may find a new 2009 or 2010 model that has never been sold that the dealer is looking to unload. You won’t find these deals unless you get off your butt and look for them.

Donna asks…

Suzuki ATV Carborator question ?

Here’s a problem that I bet not even you can figure out… I own a 1987 Suzuki 250cc Quad-Runner ATV. For the entire summer it has ran perfectly. Then at the end of the summer season I took some exterior carb cleaner so that I wouldn’t have so much dirt and grime on the outside of it. So to do this I had to take the carb off. I didn’t open it up or adjust it in any way. When I put it back on it ran not as good. Then as the weather had got colder out, when i need to start it for th first time each day I have to choke it for 1-2 min and then it doesn’t run that great. It will not idal and it seems like the throttle is sticking a little bit when I deaccelarate. Also sometimes when I deaccelerate it will idle very low and sometimes hick-up or stall. I’ve tryed adjusting hte idle on it but it’s not different. When I rev it up it will run fine but it won’t idle or start easly. I have to play with the choke sometimes. All the seals are good and everything was put back in the right way. The carb is good and clean on the inside. all the ports are clean and my fuel lines, fuel pump, and filer are clean. But once it’s warmed up it will start with no problem. I am fed up with this and I can’t figure it out. I have no book for it so I don’t know the specs for setting the carb, but it should be in the right spot because I haven’t moved it. If you can figure this out I would be amazed and very grateful too.

Thanks for the help!!!!

Chip answers:

Take that hole carb apart and clean it make sure the jet and the slowjet are not clonged.

Motorheads – Your Questions About Ktm

Joseph asks…

I am wondering whether a ktm 200 xc or ktm 200 xc-w would be more comparable to a honda crf250x?

I now have a crf250x and am looking to sell it and buy a ktm 2 stroke. I know the xc is more of a motocross bike then the xc-w is, so please dont just automatically say that the xc-w would be closer, but which one between the xc and xc-w’s gears and suspension would be more like the crf250x?

Chip answers:

Okay, first off the CRF250X is not a trail bike, it is a woods racing bike just like the KTM XC/XC-W and Yamaha WR-F line. Trail bikes do not have liquid cooled engines and race suspension. Also the 200XC is not anywhere close to a motocross bike. The XC and XC-W line, regardless of which size, are identical bikes except for the fact that the XC-W just has a wider ratio transmission than the XC, that’s it. Many woods racers like the XC-W model in the 250 and 300 displacements but most also agree that the wide ratio transmission on a small engine like the 200 just allows it to fall off of the power band too easily. If you are going to get a 200 go for the XC model.

Donna asks…

Should i trade in a KTM 450 for a smaller bike to start out on?

My dad and i just traded in a quad for a KTM 450 mxc which is a LOT of power for me to begin on. i thought it might be better if i sold or traded the KTM in for something like a crf250r. do you think someone could learn on a 450 if they were careful? im 15yrs old, about 5′ 10″, and 145lb.

Chip answers:

If its your first time on a 2wheeler. I think the 450 would be too big for you. I just brought a 2011 kx250f, the best bike produced this year apart from the rmz250. Dont go the crf250 i heard they had problems. Im the same as you, 16, around 5’8″ and 60kg, the kx250 is powerfull enough it throws me around. So i would suggest trading in the 450 for a 250 and you’ll have a much better time on a bike which you can handle.

John asks…

buying a KTM 250 Dirt Bike, what problems should i look for?

A friend of mine is willing to sell me a 95 KTM 250 2 stroke, what are some common problems with these bikes that i should look for?

Chip answers:

When was the last time the motor was rebuilt? Most 2-strokes you have to do a top-end rebuild about every 20 hours…But when was the last time the bottom end was done..like crank and bearings?? When we buy a used 2-stroke we do a total rebuild and that’s about $300 to $350 bucks…Then we know what we have…Another thing is wheel bearings and swing arm bearings and linkage bearings..These are things that most people don’t ever change..but to get the bike handling right needs to be done..For about $500 bucks you could rebuild every thing…

Chris asks…

Does aybody know how fast a 1999 sx125 ktm will go?

1999 sx-125cc-ktm.
how fast will this bike go?

Chip answers:

A dirtbike is not intended for top speed. Asking dumb questions like this shows you know nothing about bikes in general. Speed is dependent on lots of things…. Such as: gearing, weight, tires, terrain, wind, etc. If you are getting a dirtbike, don’t be concerned about how fast it is, go to your local MX track and learn to ride, for real.

Daniel asks…

does a Honda front sprocket fit on a ktm?

Hey guys, my ktm front sprocket is very very worn, its an mxc250. My dad has a front sprocket off a honda crf250r, i want to know if the sprocket will slide right on and if there universal or not, i think they are both 14 tooth sprockets.

Chip answers:

No, sprocket are not universal.
You could answer your own question with a little elbow grease. Remove the KTM sprocket and try to install the Honda sprocket. Only two outcomes. Yes, it will work, or No, it won’t work.
Good Luck

Motorheads – Your Questions About Honda

Steven asks…

What should I do to get real good solution for Honda Pilot blew up engine?

I bought a new 08 Honda Pilot and the engine blew up at 3400 miles. Honda wants to just replace the engine and call the car fine. I feel that is not right for the car to lose it’s engine that early and more should be done by Honda to offer in such case. Any advice or suggestion is appreciated.

Chip answers:

I would ask for a full warranty instead of losing 3400 miles at least..,

Robert asks…

What is the difference between the seat pan on a honda cm200t and a honda cm400?

I have a 1981 honda cm200t and found a honda cm400 seat and would like to know if it will fit or if I can modify it to fit mine. Thanks.

Chip answers:

It will require a huge amount of reworking as it is too long too deep too wide and the mounts are totally in the wrong place and wrong size
Try a CD 185 or CD200 or a CM125 seat as they all share the same frame as the CM200

Helen asks…

How does the 2008 honda accord ex-l look in black?

I’m planning to buy a 2008 honda accord and I was just wondering how it looked in black. I haven’t seen honda show it off so I was a bit concerned that It might not look to good. Honda usually shows off their metallic gray and midnight blue.

Chip answers:

The Accord EX-L looks very nice in black. I saw one a coupe black EX-L the other day and just last week i saw a black EX-L sedan at the Honda dealer while getting my Prelude serviced.

Sedan:

Coupe:

http://automobiles.honda.com/images/2008/accord-coupe/customize/base_car/BK_exl_34FRONT.jpg

The reason you don’t see them being show off though is because black has become a played out color for Honda, more people are buying the gray/blue/white cars nowadays than black.

George asks…

What is the reason behind Honda not producing its personal watercraft anymore?

Did Honda stop producing its PWC? Or have they just failed to update the website? Any info would be nice!

Chip answers:

Buy a SeaDoo

Maria asks…

Is it necessary to use Honda Transmission fluid, or can a regular one be used?

Just wondering if my transmission will be ruined if I use a different type of transmission fluid, instead of the Honda transmission fluid.

Chip answers:

The type of fluid is more critical than the brand. You cannot mix types. Look in the owners manual and it will give the specification of the fluid. You can use any fluid brand of that specification.

Motorheads – Your Questions About Victoria Secret
Filed Under (Articles) by Chip

Thomas asks…

Who thinks the woman suing Victoria Secret should have went to Lane Bryant to buy her tong?

I saw her on the today show this morning and she looks like she has no business being in Victoria Secret!!! she was like so old and on the chubby side. not hating, im just being real !

Chip answers:

OMG I saw her on the Today Show as well and thought this woman looks like she has a little junk in the trunk. I mean is she sure she was wearing the right size? Those things aren’t meant to fit everyone sorry to say. This case is just ridiculous.

Chris asks…

What to wear to a Victoria Secret Interview?

I have an interview at Victoria Secret Monday, and I know that black is what most employees wear, I currently work at abercrombie and own NO black, where should I shop?

Chip answers:

First of all… I have worked at VS for three years. I have seen girls come into my store for an interview with piercings in their face, redic hair, JEANS… HAH. Yeah. Good luck getting a job here. Girls like that we laugh at while they walk out the door, cause we know they’ll never get a phone call. So PLEASE, remember that this store isn’t some teenie-bopper store in the mall where all you do is giggle and sell cute lingerie. This is a business. We sell to not just teenagers, but women of all ages. Be MATURE.

That being said. Wear all black. Like… Business black. Go ahead and watch “The devil wears prada” and see what Emily is wearing. THAT is what you should look like. Also, it helps that you have had retail experience. When in the interview sit up straight, and focus your answers to her questions on the CUSTOMER. We are ALL about customer service. TRUST ME.

Smile and have a good time. Try to be 15 min early to your interview. It shows alot. If you have a resume, this is a plus… But it is not NEEDED.

Good luck :)

David asks…

Is there other Lingerie stores that I can actually drive to besides Victoria Secret?

I found Lingerie I liked at Victoria Secret but when I went to buy it, it was gone.

I need help please! Thanks!

Chip answers:

You can find nice lingerie at Macy’s, but you can also check their online site for what you want.

Donna asks…

What is the UK equivalent of Victoria Secret?

I know there is La Senza, but Victoria Secret does clothes and swimwear as well as underwear? What would you say is the same as that in the UK, keeping in mind that I don’t want to spend a fortune.

Chip answers:

Agent provocateur?

Helen asks…

How to get victoria secret hair and makeup?

Im going to a party and i want to look like the victoria secret models. I never will look like them but i still want their hair and makeup. I love how their hair is so flowy and their makeup is so simple, yet sexy. How can i achieve this? thankyou! also id rather not have to watch youtube vids lol.

Chip answers:

Super volume for your hair. I like Big Fat Hair products for that!

For makeup, go for a simple look with neutral eyeshadows, but focus on flawless skin and use a bronzer.
